Oceanside, California Engagement Proposal
Here is a new type of post that I haven’t shared here yet, an Engagement Proposal for Martin & Cat. Back in November, a wedding planner friend of mine contacted me to photograph a surprise engagement. I will link her down below, she’s incredible at what she does. The surprise engagement took place on the Oceanside Pier, where Martin had a cake that asked the big question and after she saw that, he pulled out a Tiffany blue box with a gorgeous white gold ring with a beautiful round cut diamond as well as some complimentary diamonds on the sides. It was chilly and windy that day so their hair was a little wild but all in all the engagement was so cute and Martin is a serious romantic! I love photographing a engagement proposal because the brides face is always the best.
Victoria set up the engagement picnic and it included bean bag chairs for them to sit on. Set up included accents such as lanterns and candles, two charcuterie plates and some champagne to pop. After the proposal, Martin and Cat walked down to the sand to see their intimate picnic setup. Martin wrote Cat a very sweet letter about how they met and about their relationship and how he feels for her. He is truly a sweet and romantic man. Martin and Cat met at a halloween party, which let’s be real, that is my dream! These two dated for 2 years before he popped the question and they are meant to be. They popped the champagne and then had a seat and enjoyed their time together. Martin & Cat were able to watch the sunset together as they laughed and kissed and really took in the atmosphere.
